Dear Friends,
We are not funded by the government or by a large Jewish corporation. We are funded by local companies and people like you.
As the rabbi, I know the cost of offering free Jewish services. I know the cost of bringing meals and friendly visits to elderly and bedridden persons in our area. I know what it cost to fund the Schmooze Club in Leisure World. I also know the cost of funding the Los Al Hebrew High and Jewish clubs at local public schools and the other holiday and community services that our local Chabad provides.
I also, unfortunately, know the price of NOT funding these vital outreach and social programs; ignorance, assimilation, drugs and despair. That’s why our staff works as hard as they do full-time.
