Preserving Our Heritage
Jewish Calendar Project
We print and distribute 5000 free Jewish wall-calendars.
The foundation of our Jewish holiday observance, and community life, is based on the Jewish (lunar) calendar. Putting Jewish calendars in our homes is one of the first steps in promoting Jewish life in our local community.
Lulav and Etrog
We import and provide holiday sets. Sets are sold to the public.
Matzo and Holiday Meals
We provide free Matzah and arrange free meals for locals who have no family or friends.
The Yiddish Theater
We bring our heritage to life on the big screen we built and we show Jewish educational films and films that celebrate our heritage.
Traveling Student Rabbis
Each summer we bring student rabbis to our community, they visit, teach, and most importantly learn from locals what the needs of the community are. Much of our data and programming is based on these visits.
